Neemias 8:1 ~ Nehemiah 8:1

E ntão todo o povo se ajuntou como um só homem, na praça diante da porta das águas; e disseram a Esdras, o escriba, que trouxesse o livro da lei de Moisés, que o Senhor tinha ordenado a Israel.

all the people gathered together as one man to the open place that was before the water-gate; and they spoke to Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which Jehovah had commanded Israel.
