c omo também uma carta para Asafe, guarda da floresta do rei, a fim de que me dê madeira para as vigas das portas do castelo que pertence ã casa, e para o muro da cidade, e para a casa que eu houver de ocupar. E o rei mas deu, graças ã mão benéfica do meu Deus sobre mim.

Send a letter with me for Asaph, the keeper of the king’s trees, that he may give me cut trees. These will be for making heavy wood pieces for the gates of the strong place by the house of God, and for the city wall, and for the house where I will stay.” And the king gave me what I asked for, because the good hand of my God was upon me.
