o s quais ordenaste por intermédio de teus servos, os profetas, dizendo: A terra em que estais entrando para a possuir, é uma terra imunda pelas imundícias dos povos das terras, pelas abominações com que, na sua corrupção, a encheram duma extremidade ã outra.

that Thou hast commanded by the hands of thy servants the prophets, saying, The land into which ye are going to possess it, a land of impurity, by the impurity of the people of the lands, by their abominations with which they have filled it -- from mouth unto mouth -- by their uncleanness;
