E lhe responderão: Porquanto deixaram ao Senhor Deus de seus pais, que os tirou da terra do Egito, e se apegaram a outros deuses, e os adoraram e os serviram; por isso trouxe sobre eles todo este mal

And they shall say, Because they forsook Jehovah the God of their fathers, who brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and have attached themselves to other gods, and have worshipped them and served them; therefore he has brought upon them all this evil.
