M as, quando ele se havia tornado poderoso, o seu coração se exaltou de modo que se corrompeu, e cometeu transgressões contra o Senhor, seu Deus; pois entrou no templo do Senhor para queimar incenso no altar do incenso.

But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to burn incense upon the altar of incense.
