T irou da casa do Senhor a Asera e, levando-a para fora de Jerusalém até o ribeiro de Cedrom, ali a queimou e a reduziu a pó, e lançou o pó sobre as sepulturas dos filhos do povo.

And Josiah brought the Asherah from the house of the Lord to outside Jerusalem to the brook Kidron and burned it there, and beat it to dust and cast its dust upon the graves of the common people.
