N esse mesmo tempo Rezim, rei da Síria, restituiu Elate a Síria, lançando fora dela os judeus; e os sírios vieram a Elate, e ficaram habitando ali até o dia de hoje.

At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath; and the Syrians came to Elath, and lived there, to this day.
