A mazias, porém, não o quis ouvir. De modo que Jeoás, rei de Israel, subiu; e ele e Amazias, rei de Judá, viram-se face a face, em Bete-Semes, que está em Judá.

But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash, king of Israel, went up; and he and Amaziah, king of Judah, looked each other in the face at Bethshemesh, which is in Judah.
