N a verdade feriste Edom, e o teu coração se ensoberbeceu; gloria-te disso, e fica em tua casa; pois, por que te entremeterias no mal, para caíres tu, e Judá contigo?

Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thy heart has lifted thee up: boast thyself, and abide at home; for why shouldest thou contend with misfortune, that thou shouldest fall, thou, and Judah with thee?
