C ada base tinha quatro rodas de bronze, e eixos de bronze; e os seus quatro cantos tinham suportes; debaixo da pia estavam estes suportes de fundição, tendo eles grinaldas de cada lado.

Every base had four bronze wheels, and axles of brass; and the four feet of it had supports. The supports were cast beneath the basin, with wreaths at the side of each.
