E ra ele filho de uma viúva, da tribo de Naftali, e fora seu pai um homem de Tiro, que trabalhava em bronze; ele era cheio de sabedoria, de entendimento e de ciência para fazer toda sorte de obras de bronze. Este veio ter com o rei Salomão, e executou todas as suas obras.

he son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father a man of Tyre, a worker in brass, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in brass -- and he cometh unto king Solomon, and doth all his work.
