Q uando eu vinha de Padã, morreu-me Raquel no caminho, na terra de Canaã, quando ainda faltava alguma distância para chegar a Efrata; sepultei-a ali no caminho que vai dar a Efrata, isto é, Belém.

`And I -- in my coming in from Padan- Rachel hath died by me in the land of Canaan, in the way, while yet a kibrath of land to enter Ephrata, and I bury her there in the way of Ephrata, which Bethlehem.'
