A nd Jephthah cometh into Mizpeh, unto his house, and lo, his daughter is coming out to meet him with timbrels, and with choruses, and save her alone, he hath none, son or daughter.

Quando Jefté chegou a Mizpá, ã sua casa, eis que a sua filha lhe saiu ao encontro com adufes e com danças; e era ela a filha única; além dela não tinha outro filho nem filha.
