C înd îşi vede Efraim boala, şi Iuda rănile, Efraim aleargă în Asiria, şi trimete la împăratul Iareb, măcar că împăratul acesta nu poate nici să vă facă sănătoşi, nici să vă lecuiască rănile.

When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
