Ş i David a zis tuturor slujitorilor lui cari erau cu el la Ierusalim:,, Sculaţi-vă să fugim, căci nu vom scăpa dinaintea lui Absalom. Grăbiţi-vă de plecare; altfel, nu va întîrzia să ne ajungă, şi va arunca nenorocirea peste noi, şi va trece cetatea prin ascuţişul săbiei.``

Then David said unto all his slaves that were with him at Jerusalem, Arise, and let us flee, for we shall not otherwise escape from Absalom; make speed to depart lest he overtake us suddenly and bring evil upon us and smite the city with the edge of the sword.
