F ii lui Ezra au fost: Ieter, Mered, Efer şi Ialon. Una din soţiile lui Mered i-a născut pe Miriam, pe Şamai şi pe Işbah, tatăl lui Eştemoa.

The sons of Ezrah: Jether, Mered, Epher, and Jalon. These are the sons of Bithiah daughter of Pharaoh, whom Mered married: she bore Miriam, Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
