I ehoaş, regele lui Israel, l-a prins pe Amaţia, regele lui Iuda, fiul lui Ioaş, fiul lui Ahazia, la Bet-Şemeş. Apoi a venit la Ierusalim şi a spart zidul Ierusalimului de la Poarta Efraim până la Poarta Colţului, pe o lungime de patru sute de coţi.

Then Jehoash king of Israel captured Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash, the son of Ahaziah, at Beth Shemesh; and he went to Jerusalem, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem from the Gate of Ephraim to the Corner Gate—four hundred cubits.
