G eremia prese un altro rotolo e lo diede a Baruc, figlio di Neria, segretario, il quale vi scrisse, sotto dettatura di Geremia, tutte le parole del libro che Ioiachim, re di Giuda, aveva bruciato nel fuoco; e vi furono aggiunte molte altre parole simili a quelle.

Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
