B ut the high priest rose up, along with all his associates (that is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy.

فَثارَ رَئِيسُ الكَهَنَةِ وَكُلُّ جَماعَتِهِ، أي حِزبِ الصَّدُوقِيِّينَ، وَمَلأهُمُ الحَسَدُ.
