N a ko koe e te tama a te tangata, korero ki te whare o Iharaira: Ko ta koutou ki tenei, e mea na koutou, Kei runga i a matou o matou he, o matou hara, a ka memeha atu matou i runga i aua he; ma te aha ra matou ka ora ai?

And you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, Thus you have said: Truly our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we waste away because of them; how then can we live?
