D arum bringen wir dem HERRN Geschenke, was ein jeglicher gefunden hat von goldenem Geräte, Ketten, Armgeschmeide, Ringe, Ohrenringe und Spangen, daß unsere Seelen versöhnt werden vor dem HERRN.

We have brought as a gift to the Lord what each man found, objects of gold, things to be worn on the arms and fingers and ears and necks. They are to pay for our sins before the Lord.”
