A nd Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.

Ioas, re d’Israele, fece prigioniero, a Bet-Semes, Amasia, re di Giuda, figlio di Ioas, figlio di Ioacaz; lo condusse a Gerusalemme e fece una breccia di quattrocento cubiti nelle mura di Gerusalemme, dalla porta di Efraim alla porta dell’Angolo.
