ف َكُلُّ مَنْ يَرفَعُ مِنْ قَدْرِ نَفسِهِ يَضَعُهُ اللهُ، وَكُلُّ مَنْ يَتَواضَعُ يَرفَعُ اللهُ قَدرُهُ.

Whoever exalts himself '> with haughtiness and empty pride] shall be humbled (brought low), and whoever humbles himself shall be raised to honor.
