ر َأيتُ أمراً مُرَوِّعاً فِي بَيتِ إسْرائِيلَ: هُناكَ زَنَى أفْرايِمُ، وَتَنَجَّسَ إسْرائِيلُ.

I saw uncleanness in the house of Israel: there Ephraim played the harlot, Israel defiled herself.
