T hen king Rehoboam sent Hadoram, who was over the men subject to taskwork; and the children of Israel stoned him to death with stones. And king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.

Regele Roboam l-a trimis la ei pe Adoniram, cel care era mai mare peste oamenii de corvoadă, dar israeliţii l-au omorât împroşcându-l cu pietre. Atunci regele Roboam s-a grăbit să se suie în car ca să fugă la Ierusalim.
