A nd I took your father Abraham from beyond the Euphrates River and led him through all the land of Canaan and multiplied his offspring. I gave him Isaac,

ثُمَّ أخَذْتُ أباكُمْ إبراهِيمَ مِنَ الجِهَةِ الأُخرَى مِنْ نَهْرِ الفُراتِ وَقُدتُهُ فِي كُلِّ أرْضِ كَنْعانَ، وَأعطَيتُهُ نَسلاً كَثِيراً، وَأعْطَيتُهُ إسْحَاقَ.
