B ut Jehosheba, the daughter of King Jehoram, sister of Ahaziah, stole Joash son of Ahaziah from among the king’s sons, who were to be slain, even him and his nurse, and hid them from Athaliah in an inner storeroom for beds; so he was not slain.

Aber Joseba, die Tochter des Königs Joram, Ahasjas Schwester, nahm Joas, den Sohn Ahasjas, und stahl ihn aus des Königs Kinder, die getötet wurden, und tat ihn mit seiner Amme in die Bettkammer; und sie verbargen ihn vor Athalja, daß er nicht getötet ward.
