D itën e parë do të mblidhni frutat e drurëve madhështorë: degë palme, degë me gjethe të dendura dhe shelgje përrenjsh, dhe do të gëzoheni përpara Zotit, Perëndisë tuaj, shtatë ditë me radhë.

And on the first day you shall take the fruit of pleasing trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick (leafy) trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days.
