S o the king hearkened not unto the people: for the cause was of God, that the Lord might perform his word, which he spake by the hand of Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

Y no escuchó el rey al pueblo; porque la causa era de Dios, para cumplir el SEÑOR su palabra que había hablado, por Ahías, el Silonita, a Jeroboam hijo de Nabat.
