1 S inget dem HERRN ein neues Lied; singet dem HERRN alle Welt!

¶ O sing unto the LORD a new song; sing unto the LORD, all the earth.

2 S inget dem HERRN und lobet seinen Namen; verkündiget von Tag zu Tage sein Heil!

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; show forth his saving health from day to day.

3 E rzählet unter den Heiden seine Ehre, unter allen Völkern seine Wunder.

Declare his glory among the Gentiles, his wonders among all peoples.

4 D enn der HERR ist groß und hoch zu loben, wunderbar über alle Götter.

For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.

5 D enn alle Götter der Völker sind Götzen; aber der HERR hat den Himmel gemacht.

For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.

6 E s stehet herrlich und prächtig vor ihm und gehet gewaltig und löblich zu in seinem Heiligtum.

Honour and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 I hr Völker, bringet her dem HERRN, bringet her dem HERRN Ehre und Macht.

Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the peoples, give unto the LORD the glory and the strength.

8 B ringet her dem HERRN die Ehre seines Namens; bringet Geschenke und kommt in seine Vorhöfe!

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; bring offerings, and come into his courts.

9 B etet an den HERRN in heiligem Schmuck; es fürchte ihn alle Welt!

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness; fear before him, all the earth.

10 S aget unter den Heiden, daß der HERR König sei und habe sein Reich, soweit die Welt ist, bereitet, daß es bleiben soll, und richtet die Völker recht.

¶ Say among the Gentiles that the LORD reigns; he also has established the world, it shall not be moved; he shall judge the peoples righteously.

11 D er Himmel freue sich, und die Erde sei fröhlich; das Meer brause und was darinnen ist;

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar and the fullness thereof.

12 d as Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was darauf ist; und lasset rühmen alle Bäume im Walde

Let the field be joyful and all that is therein; then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

13 v or dem HERRN; denn er kommt, denn er kommt, zu richten das Erdreich. Er wird den Erdboden richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Völker mit seiner Wahrheit.

before the LORD; for he has come, for he has come to judge the earth; he shall judge the world with righteousness and the peoples with his truth.
