1 A nd the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

2 S on of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

“Filho do homem, vire o rosto contra Gogue, da terra de Magogue, o príncipe maior de Meseque e de Tubal; profetize contra ele

3 a nd say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

e diga: Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Estou contra você, ó Gogue, príncipe maior de Meseque e de Tubal.

4 A nd I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them thoroughly equipped, a great assemblage with targets and shields, all of them handling swords:

Farei você girar, porei anzóis em seu queixo e o farei sair com todo o seu exército: seus cavalos, seus cavaleiros totalmente armados e uma grande multidão com escudos grandes e pequenos, todos eles brandindo suas espadas.

5 P ersia, Cush, and Phut with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

A Pérsia, a Etiópia e a Líbia estarão com eles, todos com escudos e capacetes;

6 G omer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah from the uttermost north, and all his bands;—many peoples with thee.

Gômer com todas as suas tropas, e Bete-Togarma, do extremo norte, com todas as suas tropas; muitas nações com você.

7 B e thou prepared, and prepare for thyself thou, and all thine assemblage that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

“Aprontem-se; estejam preparados, você e todas as multidões reunidas ao seu redor, e assuma o comando delas.

8 A fter many days shalt thou be visited; at the end of years thou shalt come into the land brought back from the sword gathered out of many peoples, upon the mountains of Israel which have been a perpetual waste: but it is brought forth out from the peoples, and they shall all of them be dwelling in safety.

Depois de muitos dias você será chamado às armas. Daqui a alguns anos você invadirá uma terra que se recuperou da guerra, cujo povo foi reunido dentre muitas nações nos montes de Israel, os quais por muito tempo estiveram arrasados. Trazido das nações, agora vive em segurança.

9 A nd thou shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.

Você, todas as suas tropas e as muitas nações subirão, avançando como uma tempestade; você será como uma nuvem cobrindo a terra.

10 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall even come to pass in that day that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought;

“Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Naquele dia virão pensamentos à sua cabeça e você maquinará um plano maligno.

11 a nd thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will come to them that are in quiet, that dwell in safety, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

Você dirá: ‘Invadirei uma terra de povoados; atacarei um povo pacífico e que de nada suspeita, onde todos moram em cidades sem muros, sem portas e sem trancas.

12 t o seize a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are inhabited, and against a people gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the land.

Despojarei, saquearei e voltarei a minha mão contra as ruínas reerguidas e contra o povo reunido dentre as nações, rico em gado e em bens, que vive na parte central do território ’.

13 S heba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to seize a spoil? hast thou gathered thine assemblage to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take cattle and goods, to seize a great spoil?

Sabá e Dedã e os mercadores de Társis e todos os seus povoados dirão a você: ‘Você veio para tomar despojos? Você reuniu essa multidão para saquear, levar embora prata e ouro, tomar o gado e os bens e apoderar-se de muitos despojos?’

14 T herefore prophesy, son of man, and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In that day when my people Israel dwelleth in safety, shalt thou not know ?

“Por isso, filho do homem, profetize e diga a Gogue: Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Naquele dia, quando Israel, o meu povo, estiver vivendo em segurança, será que você não vai reparar nisso?

15 A nd thou shalt come from thy place out of the uttermost north, thou and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great assemblage and a mighty army.

Você virá do seu lugar, do extremo norte, você, acompanhado de muitas nações, todas elas montadas em cavalos, uma grande multidão, um exército numeroso.

16 A nd thou shalt come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land—it shall be at the end of days—and I will bring thee against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be hallowed in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

Você avançará contra Israel, o meu povo, como uma nuvem que cobre a terra. Nos dias vindouros, ó Gogue, trarei você contra a minha terra, para que as nações me conheçam quando eu me mostrar santo por meio de você diante dos olhos delas.

17 T hus saith the Lord Jehovah: Art thou not he of whom I have spoken in old time through my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days, for years, that I would bring thee against them?

“Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Acaso você não é aquele de quem falei em dias passados por meio dos meus servos, os profetas de Israel? Naquela época eles profetizaram durante anos que eu traria você contra Israel.

18 A nd it shall come to pass in that day, in the day when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, my fury shall come up in my face;

É isto que acontecerá naquele dia: Quando Gogue atacar Israel, será despertado o meu furor. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor.

19 f or in my jealousy, in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Verily in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

Em meu zelo e em meu grande furor declaro que naquela época haverá um grande terremoto em Israel.

20 s o that the fish of the sea, and the fowl of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things which creep upon the earth, and all mankind that are upon the face of the earth shall shake at my presence; and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

Os peixes do mar, as aves do céu, os animais do campo, toda criatura que rasteja pelo chão e todas as pessoas da face da terra tremerão diante da minha presença. Os montes serão postos abaixo, os penhascos se desmoronarão e todos os muros cairão.

21 A nd I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord Jehovah: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

Convocarei a espada contra Gogue em todos os meus montes. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor. A espada de cada um será contra o seu irmão.

22 A nd I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many peoples that are with him, overflowing rain and great hailstones, fire and brimstone.

Executarei juízo sobre ele com peste e derramamento de sangue; desabarei torrentes de chuva, saraiva e enxofre ardente sobre ele e sobre as suas tropas e sobre as muitas nações que estarão com ele.

23 A nd I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I Jehovah.

E assim mostrarei a minha grandeza e a minha santidade, e me farei conhecido de muitas nações. Então eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
