1 ( По слав. 137) Давидов <псалом>. Ще Те славя от все сърце, Ще Ти пея хваления пред боговете,

I will give You thanks with all my heart. I will sing praises to You in front of the gods.

2 Щ е ти се поклоня към светия Твой храм, И ще славя Твоето име за милосърдието Ти и за верността Ти, Защото си възвеличил думата Си повече от цялото Си име.

I will bow down toward Your holy house. And I will give thanks to Your name for Your loving-kindness and Your truth. For You have honored Your Word because of what Your name is.

3 В деня, когато извиках, Ти ме послуша; Ободрил си ме със сила в душата ми.

You answered me on the day I called. You gave me strength in my soul.

4 Щ е Те прославят, Господи, всички земни царе, Когато чуят думите на Твоите уста;

O Lord, all the kings of the earth will give thanks to You when they have heard the words of Your mouth.

5 Д а! ще възпяват пътищата Господни, Че голяма е славата Господна.

And they will sing of the ways of the Lord. For the shining beauty of the Lord is great.

6 З ащото, ако и да е възвишен Господ, пак гледа на смирения; А високоумния познава от далеч.

For even if the Lord is honored, He thinks about those who have no pride. But He knows the proud from far away.

7 Д аже ако премина сред утеснение, Ти ще ме съживиш; Ще простреш ръката Си против гнева на неприятелите ми; И десницата Ти ще ме избави.

Even if I walk into trouble, You will keep my life safe. You will put out Your hand against the anger of those who hate me. And Your right hand will save me.

8 Г оспод ще извърши това, което <е потребно> за мене. Господи, понеже милостта Ти <трае> до века, Не оставяй делата на Своите ръце.

The Lord will finish the work He started for me. O Lord, Your loving-kindness lasts forever. Do not turn away from the works of Your hands.
